Dianne Todaro-Wells presented the findings from the research to the Independent Schools NSW Education Research and Leadership Symposium, alongside Professor Kevin Watson from the University of Notre Dame Australia.
The symposium theme, What's Really Going On?, invites educators, researchers and school leaders to examine evidence and reconsider assumptions about what is happening within school communities.
My presentation explores parents' experiences of collaboration with schools in sexuality education, using the metaphor of a bridge to consider how connections between home and school can become more visible, accessible and reciprocal.
The presentation invites educators and school leaders to consider an important question: Are the opportunities schools provide for parent engagement being experienced by parents as meaningful opportunities to collaborate?

Cooma Library Talk
Writing runs in the family. Acclaimed Australian author Dianne Todaro-Wells will be visiting the Cooma Library this Friday 25 March alongside her father and first-time author Alan Wells, where the two will be discussing their recent works and hope to pass on their knowledge to prospective local writers.
